Ah yes, here is my final assignment for Digital Toolbox III. It is a funny one that takes a good lampooning on futuristic science and technology. Even though I graduated, I continue taking extra courses just to boost my portfolio.

The Rabbit The Squirrel and The UFO
Rabbits, Squirrels and Flying Saucers. Oh my!
This assignment was a fun challenge. It took two weeks to complete.
My first attempt on the squirrel looked awful. I found out where I went wrong.
It looked like the program, Maya, cannot accept altered shapes, so I decided to use shapes that it is familiar with. What you are about to see, will be explained (in rhyme).

New Music Video! What is a Youth.
Hi folks, I forgot to update. Sorry about that. Anyway, I made a new music video, that you can see. It is called "What is a Youth?/A Time for Us?" This song is from Frank Zeffirelli's 1968 production of Romeo and Juliet. I hope you'll enjoy it.

Action - Reaction.
The first one you see, is for an assignment where I was given a rotoscoped animation of a person dancing. The dance was split into various segments, which were given to the students for the senior show where the dancing character changes into various ones. We were given the creative freedom to animate whatever character we want to make. Inspired by the the special, Powerpuff Girls: Dance Pantsed, I decided to do this not because of the special, but I want to pay tribute to the eighties.
The last four ones were for an animated dramatization for my graduate senior thesis film, Hail to the King - A King named Kong. The dramatization was showing children in a kiddie matinee watching and reacting to the film, King Kong Escapes. However that scene was scrapped off and ended up at the cutting room floor. Not literally, but they got saved in a file.

Welcome to my blog
Here are the works from my school years at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design. I just graduated with a double major of film/video and animation. This blog is under construction.
