Red Paint (2007)

Behold, my very first attempt in combining animation with live-action.  Also, my first attempt in doing a short movie with blood and gore as well as an exercise in dark humor.  This was made in Bunker Hill Community College as an exercise in telling a flashback.  If you are looking for Herschel-Gordon Lewis or early Peter Jackson, then you have come to the wrong person.
This picture is made in the style of a silent movie because of sound problems. If you like silent movies, then you will enjoy this one.

Enjoy.

The Great Art Robbery (2007)

From 2007, this is my first mystery caper. Join me as I become a witness to an art robbery and stop the bad guy on his tracks! Shot at Bunker Hill Community College's Art Gallery. Made by Maria A. Lamont. I not only edited it, but starred in it.

Enjoy.

New Break-In Recording!

I am back with a new break-in recording! With the popularity of the game, Pokémon Go, I noticed that with every up there is a down.  I knew that there is something fishy about this game.  It is an unintentional danger!  Despite news reports about people getting injured and going into dangerous places (even though the app tells you to go outside and get the blood flowing) and my resent towards anime for being too popular (but that's another story), I decided to make a break-in recording about it.  With that said, I give you Pokémon Oh-No!

Enjoy.

Update for April 2017!

Hey hey, this is Matthew B. Lamont giving you an update on what is going on here.
First of all, I am going to release a commercial for a non-existent product.  Then, with Kongomania going around, I am going to release the overdue short, Graduating with a Gorilla - The Making of Hail to the King - A King named Kong.  Also, commentary to my feature-film is in the works.  As of today it is 95% complete.  Once it is done, it will be ready for uploading and blogging.
Also, I got a lot of catching up to do on Powerpuff Girls 2016 reboot vlogs.
They are the following:
The Big Sleep
The Secret Life of Blossom Powerpuff
Halt and Catch Silico
Secret Swapper of Doom
Rainy Day
The Squashening
Electric Buttercup
Professor Proofed
Poorbucks
Snow Month
Somewhere over the Swing Set
People Pleaser

Keep on the look out because things are going to get denser and wackier.
Also be on the look out for more of my early videos I made this month.
As for Dinosaur Daze, well this production is in development H-E- double-hockey-sticks, so if the projector is working then production will continue.
Also a new break-in recording is coming.  I made it in 2016 and I didn' t release it yet.  It is over due and it is called Pokemon Oh No!  Be on the look out for that.

That is all, have nice day.

How King Kong met Godzilla - The Legend and the Legacy

Seven years before Hail to the King - A King named Kong, I made a short documentary called How King Kong met Godzilla - The Legend and the Legacy.  This was an assignment at Bunker Hill Community College when I was taking my Visual Media Arts major.  I was assigned to make a documentary and put in some interviews.  The inspiration was from the Classic Media DVD's that had little documentaries as one of their extras.  I thought to myself, "What if Classic Media released King Kong vs. Godzilla on DVD and what would the extras be like?"  Here is the answer.

It has come to my attention that YouTube has been notorious for taking down videos.  I wrote in the description below that all copyrights are acknowledged so this is for educational purposes.  If it gets deleted (God forbid), don't worry, because it is available on Daily Motion.

Enjoy.

Matthew Lamont Kongs out!

Yes! Finally I have seen Kong - Skull Island!  It is a great movie! It pays homage to the various films made over the years.  The RKO films, the Toho films and the Dino De Laurentiis films (specifically the 1976 remake).
Finally Kong has more screen time and the monsters in this movie are imaginative.  It was so good that I had my picture taken at the photo display at my local movie theater.  I Konged out in 2005 and I did it again in 2017.
Well, it is no Kongfrontation at Universal Studios Florida, I have photos me and my family at the photo booth where you are at Kong's hand and take a picture and you hear him roar as if he is trying to eat you up.  Apparently, they got destroyed and ended up in photo-collages (it is tough to be a monster movie buff in the 1990's).

Here are some pictures of some poster I found.

As a Kong-fan, I enjoy this movie. If you didn't see this movie, then go watch it!  And if you saw it, well, then why aren't you watching it again?!  I am wildly excited about this movie and I enjoyed it and this was a box-office smash.  It is better than the 2014 version of Godzilla!  Better than Pixels!  Better than Looney Tunes Back in Action!  This movie is like Apocalypse Now meets Jurassic Park meets the 1976 King Kong remake.  This comes to show that monsters make money! Also, when you are watching it, stay tuned after the credits.   It will blow your mind.

Speaking of Kong, I am currently working on a commentary of Hail to the King - A King Named Kong and I am going to upload a nice film I made seven years before my senior thesis film.  From 2007, How King Kong met Godzilla - The Legend and The Legacy.  Stay tuned tomorrow.
