UPDATE! (3-June-2018)

Two days ago, I met Adam Savje and asked him about the projector and he said that he hadn't tested it.  So, an idea came up.  I told him about the optical printer and the solution to this problem just in case the projector malfunctioned.  He said that we will give it a shot.  The testing will commence sometime after the 4th of July weekend.  Perhaps July 9th.  I hope so.  If the test works, then Dinosaur Daze will back in production!

Speaking of dinosaurs, this month is Jurassic June so check out my IMDB (Internet Movie Database) page to see my reviews of dinosaur films. I started two days ago, so check out this page every day to see the reviews on what I think of these dinosaur films.

Speaking of which (i.e. what my project Dinosaur Daze is going through), here is a video about Terry Gilliam's movies facing troublesome times.  He never gave up.  He persists and persists and persists and persists AND PERSISTS AND PERSISTS...  You get the point.

Hope for the best and wish me luck, because I need it.

UPDATE (1-May-2018)

It has come to my attention that yesterday I spoke to Adam, and he told me to see if there are any news  about the projector.  He said that he hasn't touched it because of he was busy.  He told me that at the beginning of June we are going to talk about it.
(I better come up with a solution for getting Dinosaur Daze off the ground as soon as possible.)

Three of days ago, I texted Adam about the projector and he said that since he was busy, he will work on the projector at the end of April.  In the words of Charlie Brown, “Oh Good Grief.”

UPDATE! (Yes it is related to "Dinosaur Daze")

Sorry for the delay.
Yesterday, I got an e-mail from Adam saying that he will fix the projector he bought recently.
He told me to check back in mid Feburary.
Hopefully, it would be ready.  Don't expect a Superbowl Spot coming this year.
Here is hoping for the best.

Dinosaur Daze Update!

Yesterday I asked Adam Savje about the projector, and today I got a response from him.

He said"
It is here and works but doesn't appear to be able to operate frame by frame ust slow and continuous.  I am looking into it more and will get back to you.
Well let's hope that this will get working and Dinosaur Daze will be back in production and pretty soon completed.

Update! (Matthew Panel 2017)

Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen, Matthew B. Lamont!

(Matthew comes in)

(crowd cheers)

Matthew: Welcome one and all.  It is good to be back!

(crowd cheers)

Matthew: You know it has come to my attention that I would like to say that I got some news and updates.

(voice pipes up)

Voice: What about Dinosaur Daze?

Matthew: I will get to that, but first let me talk about my music videos.  As you know I am a fan of this:

(crowd cheers)

Matthew: Yes, I am a fan of it (I bought the graphic novel and it is nice) and let me tell you, I had some ideas to make music videos with footage from that cartoon.  I had three songs.  Look out for Number One by Tommy Faragher [Have a listen.Physical by Olivia Newton-John [Have a listen.I Can Do Anything Better Than You Can from Fame [Have a listen if you know what I am talking about.I Will Survive by Gloria Gaynor [Have a listen.Don't Worry Be Happy by Bobby McFerrin [Have a listen.]  This is because I saw the latest episodes of The Loud House.  One was called "Health Kicked" and "Lynner Takes All".   I need your help!  Which song of these three do you want me to make a music video out of.  I can sure use some help here.

Matthew: By the way, I have come to thank you for giving my break-in recording, A House that is Loud, 209 views on YouTube.  Thank you so much.  Let's hope it will have 1000 views.

(crowd applauds)

Matthew: I will also be uploading some rare treasures.  Be on the look out for my documentary, Who is Pooch the Pup.  There will be more music video commentaries coming so keep an eye on this blog.  Now for Dinosaur Daze.

(crowd cheers)

Matthew: OK, OK, cool it.  Keep your shirts on and let me tell you.  Yesterday,  I got word that Adam Savje ordered a new one and he will take a look at it and he hopes that it will work properly.  So keep those fingers crossed because this project will be done.  (Hopefully.)

(crowd cheers)

Matthew: Well, that is all.  Thank you very much and I must be going.  See ya.

Dinosaur Daze Update! (Another one? Incredible!)

This is a Dinosaur Daze Update.
As you know, last month Adam Savje said that he will be in France in late June and said that he is going to work on the projector in earyly July.  According to this post.
Since the 4th of July, I got sick with an unwanted summer cold.  TodayI am better, so it had been a whole and gave Mr. Savje a text and he said that he has not touched the porjector and he will take care of it hopefully soon and he will let me know.
Well let's all hope that this projector gets fixed.
This has been a Dinosaur Daze Update.

UPDATE!

Hello, folks.  Here is an update.  First of all, I got an update on the page, there you can find me on other sites.  Contact me at g-mail, find me at Vimeo, Youtube, Facebook, Dailymotion, and Twitter (I don't tweet).
As for Powerpuff Girls 2016 Reboot Vlogs, there will be none of those and here is why.  First, I don't have a camera.  No camera, no vlogs.  Second, I went overboard by adding visual effects to make it denser and wackier.  Those took up time.  This is demonstrated on my vlog on the episode, "The Secret Life of Blossom Powerpuff".

So this is the last one.  Give it a good watch before it disappears like all the other ones.

On May 18th was my last day at Tech Central so here is a nice video about it.

Also, as for Dinosaur Daze, Adam Savje is currently working on the projector so there will be high hopes that this short movie will be back in production.  Keep those hopes high.

This is Matthew B. Lamont signing off.

Update for April 2017!

Hey hey, this is Matthew B. Lamont giving you an update on what is going on here.
First of all, I am going to release a commercial for a non-existent product.  Then, with Kongomania going around, I am going to release the overdue short, Graduating with a Gorilla - The Making of Hail to the King - A King named Kong.  Also, commentary to my feature-film is in the works.  As of today it is 95% complete.  Once it is done, it will be ready for uploading and blogging.
Also, I got a lot of catching up to do on Powerpuff Girls 2016 reboot vlogs.
They are the following:
The Big Sleep
The Secret Life of Blossom Powerpuff
Halt and Catch Silico
Secret Swapper of Doom
Rainy Day
The Squashening
Electric Buttercup
Professor Proofed
Poorbucks
Snow Month
Somewhere over the Swing Set
People Pleaser

Keep on the look out because things are going to get denser and wackier.
Also be on the look out for more of my early videos I made this month.
As for Dinosaur Daze, well this production is in development H-E- double-hockey-sticks, so if the projector is working then production will continue.
Also a new break-in recording is coming.  I made it in 2016 and I didn' t release it yet.  It is over due and it is called Pokemon Oh No!  Be on the look out for that.

That is all, have nice day.

The Dinosaur and the Missing Link (2005)

I am going to take you back.  Way back.  Back before there were animation programs like i-stop motion, Frame Theif, Dragon Frame and Stop Motion Pro.  Before I knew Final Cut Pro. There was something I learned on Discovery Channel's Mega Movie Magic about stop-motion animation.  Record for one frame, stop move it a bit.  Record for one second, stop, move it a little bit and so on.  The result was choppy and sluggish moments.  I was unaware about the EOS FAX Umatic Animation Controller so I sent it to Adobe Premiere and changed the speed of the movements and added in the voices.  This was The Dinosaur and the Missing Link (2005) a remake of the 1915 classic by Willis O'Brien.
Yes, today is his birthday.

Hey, this was my first animation.  Your first is not your best.
Enjoy.

NEWS AND UPDATE

Good News and Bad News.

Bad News.
If you can take a wild guess, it has got something to do with Dinosaur Daze
In the days following the Superbowl spot announcing the cancellation, I got news that it is not going to be cancelled, but the projector is going to get fixed.  I heard on Friday the 24th that there is going to be fixed, but later it was scheduled for Monday.  The day came and while the light worked, the cables worked (and thank God it did courtesy of Fred the Electrician, otherwise it blow a fuse or worse cause a fire or explosion), but the sporckets didn't.  Oh well, but according to Adam Savje, there is hope to get the project done.  It will be.

Good News.
My safety film, Tech Central's Guide to the Color Coded Alert System, is getting a premiere on the big screen as part of the Mass Art All School Show on March 21st 2017.
Don't miss it.

Update (exasperated sigh).

Yes, this one of those updates on you guessed it: Dinosaur Daze.
It looks like it will be back in production.  After I made my Superbowl Spot announcing the cancellation, I heard that the projector will be fixed by next week.  The day came and what do you know, I got word that the projector is almost ready.  It needs it's electrical wiring checked so there won't be any explosions or fires.  Now those are scary!

Update!

It is that time again for an update on Dinosaur Daze.  Good news, the projector came yesterday.  The bad news is that it is missing a plug.  It has three European input devices and needs a cord made up of a device with three European output devices.  I will be informed by the end of the week.

Stay tuned.

UDATE! Will this short movie be back on production?

What time is it?  It's update time!
Yesterday, I got word from Adam Savje and he said that brought a projector from one of those e-bay links and he said he will test when it comes out.
There will be a good chance that this film will be back in production!
Keep your shirts on cowboys, Dinosaur Daze will be completed!
