UPDATE! (9-July-2018)

Well then, it looks like that DINOSAUR DAZE will commence production in September. Because Adam Savje is moving the stop-motion room to a new location.
Good greif.

UPDATE! (3-June-2018)

Two days ago, I met Adam Savje and asked him about the projector and he said that he hadn't tested it.  So, an idea came up.  I told him about the optical printer and the solution to this problem just in case the projector malfunctioned.  He said that we will give it a shot.  The testing will commence sometime after the 4th of July weekend.  Perhaps July 9th.  I hope so.  If the test works, then Dinosaur Daze will back in production!

Speaking of dinosaurs, this month is Jurassic June so check out my IMDB (Internet Movie Database) page to see my reviews of dinosaur films. I started two days ago, so check out this page every day to see the reviews on what I think of these dinosaur films.

Speaking of which (i.e. what my project Dinosaur Daze is going through), here is a video about Terry Gilliam's movies facing troublesome times.  He never gave up.  He persists and persists and persists and persists AND PERSISTS AND PERSISTS...  You get the point.

Hope for the best and wish me luck, because I need it.

UPDATE (1-May-2018)

It has come to my attention that yesterday I spoke to Adam, and he told me to see if there are any news  about the projector.  He said that he hasn't touched it because of he was busy.  He told me that at the beginning of June we are going to talk about it.
(I better come up with a solution for getting Dinosaur Daze off the ground as soon as possible.)

UPDATE! (Yes it is related to "Dinosaur Daze")

Sorry for the delay.
Yesterday, I got an e-mail from Adam saying that he will fix the projector he bought recently.
He told me to check back in mid Feburary.
Hopefully, it would be ready.  Don't expect a Superbowl Spot coming this year.
Here is hoping for the best.

Adam Savje just got back from Canada's Ottawa International Animation Festival and he is going to get a new projector.
I hope the next one works.  If this goes on, don't expect a new Super Bowl spot for 2018.

Dinosaur Daze Update!

Yesterday I asked Adam Savje about the projector, and today I got a response from him.

He said"
It is here and works but doesn't appear to be able to operate frame by frame ust slow and continuous.  I am looking into it more and will get back to you.
Well let's hope that this will get working and Dinosaur Daze will be back in production and pretty soon completed.

Update! (Matthew Panel 2017)

Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen, Matthew B. Lamont!

(Matthew comes in)

(crowd cheers)

Matthew: Welcome one and all.  It is good to be back!

(crowd cheers)

Matthew: You know it has come to my attention that I would like to say that I got some news and updates.

(voice pipes up)

Voice: What about Dinosaur Daze?

Matthew: I will get to that, but first let me talk about my music videos.  As you know I am a fan of this:

(crowd cheers)

Matthew: Yes, I am a fan of it (I bought the graphic novel and it is nice) and let me tell you, I had some ideas to make music videos with footage from that cartoon.  I had three songs.  Look out for Number One by Tommy Faragher [Have a listen.Physical by Olivia Newton-John [Have a listen.I Can Do Anything Better Than You Can from Fame [Have a listen if you know what I am talking about.I Will Survive by Gloria Gaynor [Have a listen.Don't Worry Be Happy by Bobby McFerrin [Have a listen.]  This is because I saw the latest episodes of The Loud House.  One was called "Health Kicked" and "Lynner Takes All".   I need your help!  Which song of these three do you want me to make a music video out of.  I can sure use some help here.

Matthew: By the way, I have come to thank you for giving my break-in recording, A House that is Loud, 209 views on YouTube.  Thank you so much.  Let's hope it will have 1000 views.

(crowd applauds)

Matthew: I will also be uploading some rare treasures.  Be on the look out for my documentary, Who is Pooch the Pup.  There will be more music video commentaries coming so keep an eye on this blog.  Now for Dinosaur Daze.

(crowd cheers)

Matthew: OK, OK, cool it.  Keep your shirts on and let me tell you.  Yesterday,  I got word that Adam Savje ordered a new one and he will take a look at it and he hopes that it will work properly.  So keep those fingers crossed because this project will be done.  (Hopefully.)

(crowd cheers)

Matthew: Well, that is all.  Thank you very much and I must be going.  See ya.

Dinosaur Daze Update! (Another one? Incredible!)

This is a Dinosaur Daze Update.
As you know, last month Adam Savje said that he will be in France in late June and said that he is going to work on the projector in earyly July.  According to this post.
Since the 4th of July, I got sick with an unwanted summer cold.  TodayI am better, so it had been a whole and gave Mr. Savje a text and he said that he has not touched the porjector and he will take care of it hopefully soon and he will let me know.
Well let's all hope that this projector gets fixed.
This has been a Dinosaur Daze Update.

Dinosaur Daze Technical Issue

On Friday, I was going to continue working on Dinosaur Daze, but something happened.  The Athena 16mm Motion Analysis Projector malfunctioned.  Adam Savje, my Stop-Motion 2 and Optical Printing professor was in charge of the projector.  It malfunctioned because there was something wrong with the internal functions, so he sent it to the Film Cage and it will be sent for repairs.  I asked him when was the last time it was tested and working well.  He said "Two months ago."

I told him that if the projector gets fixed, I would skip a work day and make up for the skipped work day.  He agreed.

Yes folks.  Currently, I am working at MassArt's Tech Central department.  I am doing inventory and making an animated safety film for the department.   So here are some pictures of the supposed dynamation shots for this 16mm production.

This projector is used to study motion and timing.  Scientists use it to study motion.  Coaches use it to help athletes improve their skills.  Filmmakers and animators use it not only for rotoscoping, but for combining live-action with stop-motion animation.  While regular projector burn the film when paused, this one doesn't and the film never burns up.  You can move a few frame forward or a few frames back.  It is a great projector (pity that it malfunctioned).
